Over 300 guests attended Flip for Art 2017 at the Salem Convention Center.
Guests bid on art and fine craft donated by local collectors, along with award-winning wines from regional vintners. Attendees made their own art in the flip book photo booth, creating their own souvenir book to take home. Projections designed by The Bruin Company drew attention to the “Flip for Art” theme.
Several community members were recognized for their lasting contributions to Salem’s cultural landscape: artist Nancy Lindburg; art historian and Willamette University professor emeritus Roger Hull; and, philanthropist and historic preservationist Elisabeth Walton Potter.
